Robinson returns to victory in most
heroic fashion, winning the Tribute to Al Hinds
Fifth annual event draws record, standing room only crowd to El Dorado Fairground
Since the start of the 2008 racing season, David Robinson Jr. of Foresthill has been
eager to return to the victory circle at Placerville Speedway. The former two time Civil War and Placerville Speedway track
champion has led a number of events but victory continued to elude him as he returned from a two-year hiatus from the sport.

Former champion Robinson leads
roster heading into Placerville's "Tribute to Al Hinds"
Since returning from his two year retirement from sprint car racing, former Civil War Series champion David Robinson Jr.
of Foresthill has been feeling the bridesmaid blues. He has led several events but has not yet finished higher than second
place in a feature event. This Saturday night, Robinson will attempt to make a triumphant comeback at the track where has
won two championships to compete in Civil War Sprint car series, in which, he holds two career titles. The event is one
of the most recognized races on the 15-race tour, it's the fifth annual "Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds" at Placerville
Speedway.

DSR Graphics to join Family Chevrolet
with bonus funds for Tribute to Al Hinds
This Saturday night DSR Graphics and Signs of Cameron Park will continue a five year
tradition of continued support for the annual “Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds” at Placerville Speedway. DSR Graphics
and Signs will award a $100 bonus to the fast qualifier of the night in honor of the late Al Hinds.

As the weekend nears, race teams and local race fans are gearing up for Placerville
Speedway’s very special night of racing. It’s the fifth annual “Tribute to Al Hinds” Civil War Sprint Car race presented
by Family Chevrolet-Cadillac of Shingle Springs.

This Saturday the racing community will gather at Placerville Speedway to honor the late Al Hinds with the fifth annual
"Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds." Mr. Hinds was the early promoter of Placerville Speedway and is best known for building
his very own "field of dreams" at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds and bringing the business community together with the
sport of auto racing in what was a rural community at the time.

Hirst takes Civil War opener
in Placerville’s Wild Winged Wednesday
Elk Grove’s Kyle Hirst became the first winner of the 2008 Hoosier Tires Civil War
Series at Placerville Speedway during the special “Wild Winged Wednesday” event that undoubtedly lived up to its name. Aboard
the GP Development #6 sprint car, Hirst bested a 42 car field in an event that was the survival of the fittest with a dozen
different cars going upside down throughout the night.

War Series opener in special weeknight event
California’s top drivers expected to converge in El Dorado County
for “Wild Winged Wednesday”
Following an early season rain out, Placerville Speedway will host a special weeknight
event this Wednesday, April 9th to bring high caliber sprint car racing to area fans. The quarter mile track on the El Dorado
County Fairgrounds proudly presents the Hoosier Racing Tires Civil War Sprint Car series, featuring California’s top drivers
in the opening round of this competition, popular racing series.
