Golden State Challenge Series ready for 18th annual Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial this Saturday May 17
All eyes in the Northern California sprint car scene will be focused in on the Silver Dollar Speedway this coming Saturday night for the Golden State Challenge Series sanctioned 18th annual Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial. The prestigious event will begin the second half of the season for the traveling 410 series and will feature a talent packed roster attempting to put their name on the Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial win list, which is practically a who’s who of California sprint car racing over the last 20 years.

The Colfax Comet continues to shine with new team in Placerville championship series
Successful duo of Wiesz and Taylor look to maintain point lead entering point race seven

During his racing career, Colfax resident Colby Wiesz has driven for very few different car owners. The majority of his career has been spent behind the wheel of his family owned team prior to filling in for David Robinson Jr. for 2006-2007 with the FnF Racing Team. This year, the multi-time Marysville Raceway Park track champion has teamed with veteran car owner John Taylor and just five races into the season the duo obviously proves to be a perfect blend of talent and commitment.

Forsberg scores third Placerville win to cap off $4000 weekend of success
Auburn native Andy Forsberg gave his mother a pair of presents over Mother's Day weekend. It wasn't in the form of jewelry or flowers but he certainly has some extra cash to do that now after winning a total of $4000 in his A&A Stepping Stone #92 sprint car over the weekend. Following a victory Friday night at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Forsberg drive to his third win of the season at Placerville Speedway Saturday night to win $2000 on Cold Springs Community Church Night.

Tyler Walker wins exciting Chris & Brian Faria Memorial
In the world of sprint car racing few drivers are more exciting that Los Angeles’ Tyler Walker and San Jose’s Tim Kaeding. The pair always seem to get that extra little bit out of their machines and both were at it again Saturday night at the Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway during the annual Chris & Brian Faria Memorial.
