Jonathan Allard becomes 9th different
winner in first 10 races with victory in Quincy
Current Golden State Challenge Series point leader Jonathan Allard of Chico utilized
a beautiful late race move in traffic to get by last Saturday’s winner Tim Kaeding and pick up his first series victory
of the ’08 season this past Saturday night at the American Valley Speedway in Quincy. With the win Allard becomes the ninth
different winner in the first 10 races of the GSC season and it came on a night when the final checkered flag fell just
before midnight.

Robinson returns to victory in most
heroic fashion, winning the Tribute to Al Hinds
Fifth annual event draws record, standing room only crowd to El Dorado Fairground
Since the start of the 2008 racing season, David Robinson Jr. of Foresthill has been
eager to return to the victory circle at Placerville Speedway. The former two time Civil War and Placerville Speedway track
champion has led a number of events but victory continued to elude him as he returned from a two-year hiatus from the sport.

Kyle Hirst Wins Two
Weeks in a Row at Chico
Loomis, CA resident Kyle Hirst is starting to become a fixture in victory lane at
Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico. Hirst led all 25 laps to score his first 410 sprint car win of the year. Last week Hirst
won his first non-wing sprint main event of the year at Chico driving the Orth family sprinter. This week Hirst was back
aboard the familiar Gary Perkins owned GP Development #6 and cruised to the popular win.

Former champion Robinson
leads roster heading into Placerville's "Tribute to Al Hinds"
Since returning from his two year retirement from sprint car racing, former Civil War Series champion David Robinson Jr.
of Foresthill has been feeling the bridesmaid blues. He has led several events but has not yet finished higher than second
place in a feature event. This Saturday night, Robinson will attempt to make a triumphant comeback at the track where has
won two championships to compete in Civil War Sprint car series, in which, he holds two career titles. The event is one
of the most recognized races on the 15-race tour, it's the fifth annual "Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds" at Placerville
Speedway.

DSR Graphics to join
Family Chevrolet with bonus funds for Tribute to Al Hinds
This Saturday night DSR Graphics and Signs of Cameron Park will continue a five year
tradition of continued support for the annual “Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds” at Placerville Speedway. DSR Graphics
and Signs will award a $100 bonus to the fast qualifier of the night in honor of the late Al Hinds.

Series set for Quincy getaway
The beautiful Sierra Mountain town of Quincy will be the destination for the Golden
State Challenge King of California Series this Saturday May 3 as teams and drivers make their way to the American Valley
Speedway. The night of action will be the 10th race of the GSC season and will also mark the second straight season that
the traveling 410 sprint car series competes at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds track.

This Friday Night
Feather Falls Casino Championship Auto Point Racing continues this Friday night, May 2, at the Silver Dollar Speedway in
Chico. The 410 sprints, street stocks and wingless sprints are all scheduled to compete during round number six. The 410
sprint car winners will receive $2,000 for the main event win sponsored this week by Ashley Furniture Home Stores. Out of
town sprint car drivers scheduled to attend include Brent, Bud and Tim Kaeding along with Jason Statler and Roger Crockett.
These out of towner's will mix it up with the regulars including Chico's Jonathan Allard, Brett Miller and Fast Eddy Lewis.
Over 25 winged 410 sprint cars are expected.

to host first annual "Al Hinds Sprint Car Show and Shine BBQ" as a prelude to Saturday's race
This Saturday the racing community will gather at Placerville Speedway to honor the late Al Hinds with the fifth annual
"Family Chevrolet Tribute to Al Hinds." Mr. Hinds was the early promoter of Placerville Speedway and is best known for building
his very own "field of dreams" at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds and bringing the business community together with the
sport of auto racing in what was a rural community at the time.

Tim Kaeding wins 1st GSC
main event of season in Tulare
The Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway and San Jose’s Tim Kaeding have always been a match
made in heaven and it continued Saturday night with the former King of California picking up an exciting victory to score
his first Golden State Challenge Series win of the season. With the victory Kaeding becomes the eighth different winner
in nine GSC races so far in 2008.

Forsberg returns
to his Mr. Excitement nature in fifth Placerville point race
Auburn's Andy Forsberg returned to his Mr. Excitement nature Saturday night for the
fifth New Car Dealers of El Dorado County, Hoosier Racing Tires, Coors Light Championship event of the season. Forsberg
returned to victory lane at the track he calls home for the second time this season and shared victory lane with Pure Stock
driver Dan Brown Jr. of Nevada City, Pure Stock racer Tom Tilford of Folsom and Jeremy Blackshire of the Nor Cal Dwarf Cars.

Kaeding Wins
Wild Sprint Car Main at Chico
Tim Kaeding won his 47th career main event at Silver Dollar Speedway on Friday night.
It was his second Friday night win of the year during the Feather Falls Casino point championship series. Kaeding pocketed
$2, 000 for the win with the nights sponsor being Withrow's Motorsports and JP's Paint and Body Works. “It feels good to
come home and actually get to race,” said Kaeding. “We went back East for a few weeks and I think I was starting to grow
some web-feet with all the rain outs we had back there.”

Tulare Thunderbowl hosts
Golden State Challenge Series and Western States Modifieds on Saturday
The Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway will be back in action this Saturday April 26 with an exciting night of competition showcasing
the Golden State Challenge Series 410 Sprint Cars and the Western States Modifieds. It will begin the busiest stretch of
the season for the special event track, with racing occurring every other weekend over the next month at the exciting 1/3
mile clay oval.

Auto Racing Continues this Friday Night at Chico
There is quite the battle going on between the veterans in the sprint car division
at Chico against the young guns. During point race number four this Friday night, April 25, this on going challenge between
the older drivers and the young guns continue. Joining the racing action are the wingless sprints and dirt modified's. All
of this championship racing takes place under the Feather Falls Casino point battle.
